THIS is what GREAT sessions are made of.

So often, people feel like they have to buy new clothes, coordinate perfect outfits, do their hair special, or travel to a once-in-a-lifetime location for their engagement photos. But Raya and Dean proved that THE BEST sessions are messy hair, old jeans, and a place packed with memories. It’s as authentic as it gets.

We started the session with tea and a walk through Dean’s parents’ farm where the two had spent countless days together. We took a shot of whiskey and prepped an old bike for them to ride together, an ode to one of their favorite shared hobbies. From there, we ran through the fields, visited the horses, and finished the evening in his dad’s 1967 Camero. We parked it in front of the barn where Raya and Dean have spent hundreds of hours woodworking, painting, and reading together. We stargazed, laughed, and reminisced on the days Dean lived in an old RV on the back of the property.

It really was just three friends hanging out, making memories, and commemorating a sweet season in Raya & Dean’s life. I hope you can feel how special these photos are. It’s a session I’ll never forget.
