You know what’s better than having your photos taken in an epic location? Having them taken in a place filled with your very own memories!

Genna and Parker have spent countess days exploring the South Yuba River just outside of Grass Valley, California. They fish, hike, run, and best of all—include their pup in it all! So naturally, she needed to be included.

I had the absolute best time exploring one of their favorite spots, hearing all about what Grass Valley has to offer, and running along the riverbanks together. Cell service was classically spotty—which, in my book, is always a sure sign that you’re in for the best kind of adventure.

This is truly what the best sessions are made of. Your photos will always mean the most when you’re in a place you love, doing what you love with the person you love.
